Amulyam Herbal Henna Powder is the essence of authentic henna leaves from the land of Rajasthan. Henna has been a traditional way of coloring hair, skin, and nails since time immemorial. Henna borrows its coloring property from Lawsone, also known as hennotannic acid, which is a red-orange natural dyeing agent. Lawsone tends to bond protein which further results in the coloring of skin and hair. Generally natural henna produces shades of orange, auburn, chestnut brown, and burgundy colors. Besides a natural colorant, henna is a superb hair conditioner that nourishes hair and makes them lustrous and soft. Henna also repairs cuticles and actively heals the hair shaft and helps in preventing hair fall, dandruff, and premature greying by balancing the pH of the scalp. What's more, henna is known to reduce the harmful effects of pollution on hair and also strengthens hair to fight the bad effects of blow-drying and artificial drying. Henna also carries anti-fungal and preservative properties.
